End the weekend with Gung Ho at Alhambra Lounge
As they put the finishing touches on their debut EP, Brisbane band Gung Ho is embarking on an extensive tour around the country. And if you really can be judged by the company you keep, Gung Ho is sure to be impressive.
Post their first single ‘Twin Rays’ receiving glowing reviews both locally and internationally, Gung Ho play at Alhambra Lounge in Fortitude Valley this weekend, supporting Bleeding Knees Club with Dune Rats. With Seinfeld as an influence and an infectious indie-pop sound, Gung Ho has been tagged one of the country’s most promising bands.
With surf-inspired tunes that are both breezy and ballsey, it will be well worth checking them out as they tour the country, returning April 14 with Bluejuice and The Cairos and April 24 with pals Last Dinosaurs and Millions.
