Grow micro-greens with micro effort – say hello to Micropod

It’s a well-known story – you decide to level up your dining experience by growing your own produce and fall into the trap of thinking that maybe this time your plants won’t die from neglect. Fast forward a few weeks and all you have is a withered mess to clean up and you find yourself (yet again) reaching for the plastic-wrapped supermarket substitute. Sound familiar? Never fear, friends, because we may have the solution for you to become a green thumb – it’s called Micropod. more

Put your pedal to the metal – a lasagne drive-through has landed in Brisbane

Like a certain orange feline, we have an unhealthy obsession with lasagne. If we could sleep in a bed of lasagne, we would – and we would eat ourselves out of it in the morning too. If you share our unequivocal adoration for the cheesy carb creation, then we have some truly great news for you. The culinary geniuses at DALTON Catering (the new owners of CJs pasta) are dishing up kilograms upon kilograms of the saucy stuff via a super convenient lasagne drive-through. Before you hop in the car and start drifting corners Vin Diesel-style, let us divulge a few important details ... more

We've been truly blessed when it comes to exciting pop-ups on this year's calendar – string-fuelled live gigs, huge science festivals and curiosity-piquing events are just a few highlights so far. A strong contender for the most dazzling event of the year is about to enter our stratosphere and is bringing with it some truly spellbinding showcases. Arriving at the City Botanic Gardens in May is Botanica – Contemporary Art Outside, a huge display of illuminating site specific artworks that will light up the park after dark with picture-perfect projections and immersive installations from May 7–16. more

Dreams do come true – two cult faves combine for Cadbury’s new Caramilk Marble chocolate block

This year, the dessert kingpin has decided to up the ante for its newest creation by combining two of our favourite flavours. Please give a warm welcome to Cadbury's newest chocolate block – Caramilk Marble. more
