Crossbows music festival arrives at South Bank

Crossbows is a four-day music festival for small ensembles that will encompass a range of musical genres. Hosting the event will be the latest addition to the precint, ABC Queensland, in conjunction with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, QPAC and the Queensland Conservatorium. There will be more than 70 performances from classical, jazz, popular and electronic to world music groups. A number of workshops and forums will also be held throughout Crossbows. Standout acts include Katie Noonan and Elixir, comedic trio Tripod, Emma Dean and the China Conservatory. Tickets are on sale for individual days (for $30) or as a four-day festival pass (for $100).
