Two Streets Over


Nestled in the middle of Gordon Park is a cafe that brings together wholesome food, a crisp aesthetic and a honest-to-goodness dedication to the coffee craft. Two Streets Over is the brainchild of Nick Esplin and Alex Hocking, a builder and chef respectively, who bonded over the idea of creating a local cafe that offered more than just a grab-and-go coffee option. Situated two streets away from Nick’s childhood home in what was once a local butcher and news agency, Two Streets Over features a clean and fresh fit-out that offers indoor and outdoor seating amongst herb planters and fresh timber furniture. The menu offers a selection of gourmet toasties as well as a sit-down menu of all-day breakfast choices including corn and zucchini fritters, mushroom ragu on potato rosti, bacon and egg sandwiches, eggs benedict and more. Coffee lovers will be stoked to know that Two Streets Over has enlisted Bellisimo Coffee as its java of choice, with natural soft drinks also available for kids as well a Cor De Coco cold extracted coffee served with pure coconut water. Two Streets Over will also be looking to host themed dinner nights with liquor service in the coming months – becoming a vibrant community hub in its own right.
