Nestled in the heart of Wynnum’s commercial centre is The Collective Store – a haven for artisanal goods and gorgeous gifts. What originally started as an arts-and-crafts co-op has now blossomed into a viable small business thanks to the wide array of products on offer. Roughly 80 per cent of all pieces sold are locally produced, but The Collective Store sources items from artisans from across Australia. All of the quirky items are fresh and original – the store ethos being unique, not mass produced. New stock arrives weekly, and artist-led craft workshops for kids and adults take place in-store regularly.
