For years, Fairfield residents had been clamouring for a suburban cafe to call their own. Hearing the call Kate Whitlock took it upon herself to open Slinky Espresso, a quaint cafe on Fairfield Road that has become a popular community hub since opening in 2011. Located a stone’s-throw from Robinson Park and Fairfield Coles, Slinky Espresso is a great location for a coffee after dropping the kids at school or breakfast on the weekend. Slinky Espresso’s kitchen operates at full capacity from Thursday through to Sunday with meals ranging from the usual favourites to stellar specials (we hear the French toast is to die for) and delicious Genovese coffee.
