A much-needed addition to the area, Petrichor Day Spa focus on practices to boost health and wellness in a luxury setting, focusing on skin, body and mind. Petrichor Day Spa’s Jacqueline McClymont started her career as a nurse and midwife, and has brought those skills to the fore when creating a day spa that could cater to pregnant women and regular patrons equally. Services include facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, massage, hot stone therapy, and hydroptherapy courtesy of an impressive vichy spa. A dietician is available by appointment to provide nutritional advice, while patrons can also sign up for intimate yoga sessions specialising in relaxation and meditation. The third floor space maintains the Queenslanders original touches, and features rooms for single treatment, double rooms for friends or couples and a larger room for yoga and parties. Petrichor Day Spa uses beauty products by South African company Esse, which is the first organic facial serum that boasts a probiotic.
