Beloved sweet institution New Farm Confectionery outgrew its hole-in-the-wall space after three sweet years and moved into a much bigger home in Newstead in early 2018. The fresh space boasts a kitchen almost ten times larger than its previous residence, meaning owner and confectioner Jodie Neilson has plenty more space to create the delicious treats we know and love – and then some. With the new space comes an expanded range of treats and drinks, plus more room to dine in and enjoy the sweet life. The new kitchen also allows for more experimentation – so those eager to sample treats infused with some interesting flavour combinations have a lot to look forward to. New Farm Confectionery also serves coffee from Wolff Coffee Roasters and organic loose-leaf tea from West End Tea Co. alongside milkshakes and craft sodas.
