Malt Dining

With yesteryear charm and old-world sophistication, Malt Dining is spread over three levels in one of Brisbane’s most iconic inner-city buildings Wenley House. Built in 1865, the restaurant celebrates the building’s raw appeal with an eclectic mix of texture and colour framed by old exposed brickwork, original timber flooring and double-hung windows. The three level building includes a street-level bar, a private dining room in the cellar and an upstairs fine-dining restaurant. Each level is intimate and unique. The cellar is surrounded by exposed timber beams and bottles of wine and champagne, with a distinctive custom-made dining table as a centerpiece. Malt’s thoughtful menu includes mouth-watering dishes like Slow Cooked Quail Breast, Sous Vide Grimaud Duck Breast and Crisp Zucchini Flowers stuffed with Goats Ricotta.
