Giardinetto

Amongst the nightclubs and convenience stores of Brunswick Street is not where you’d expect to find a petite Italian eatery, but this surprising location is exactly where Giardinetto sits. The traditional trattoria first opened its doors in 1966 and today still offers visitors the chance to indulge in some hearty Mediterranean fare within its simple interiors. Fresh pastas tossed with seafood and herbs can be devoured, alongside pizzas topped with all kinds of decadent flavours – with both vegetarian and meatier options for carnivores. Giardinetto is also a fully licensed restaurant, but offers the ability to BYO wine if preferred.
