e’cco bistro Newstead


After standing strong against the test of time, beloved Brisbane dining institution e’cco bistro closed its doors in Brisbane City in 2017 and re-emerged with a new-look Newstead venue in March 2018.  The restaurant did more than just change addresses – it reopened as a double-header venue. The contemporary and sophisticated bistro setting that e’cco diners know and love remained but work has also been put into a a space that offers the same sterling food and service in a more relaxed and casual setting. Head Chef Simon Palmer continues to head up the kitchen at e’cco’s new location at Haven Newstead, plating up fare using the finest seasonal produce that boasts flavoursome twists that retain familiarity. Coal-grilled meats and vegetables a key feature, but the dessert offering is also incredible. The wine list showcases a complementary range of Australian and international winemakers selected by sommelier Mia McIntyre, bolstered by a range of craft beers and signature cocktails.
