Ethio-African Restaurant & Injera Bakery

With a humble interior and clandestine laneway location, Ethio-African Restaurant & Injera Bakery serves up the traditional flavours of Africa. Inside, African trinkets hang from the walls and vibrant handwoven baskets sit atop the painted bench, waiting to be filled with a plate of tasty morsels. Delicious foodstuffs such as Lega Tibes (Roasted Lamb), Zil Zil Tibes (Grilled Meat) and Key Wot (Beef Stew) are cooked for hours to become soft and tender, while the Vegetarian – a combination of Lentils, Yellow Split Peas, Bean, Chick Peas, Beetroot and Potato – is a wholesome dish best accompanied by a slice of Chapati flat bread.
