Carl’s Jr.

You may know Carl’s Jr. for its giant Californian-style burgers. Or, you may know Carl’s Jr. for its racy ads – yep, that’s a still from Emily Ratajkowski and Sara Underwood’s bikini-clad barbecue burger fest above. If you’re not familiar, you can get a taste for yourself the next time you’re going on a holiday. After opening its first – and hugely successful – Australian store in Bateau Bay earlier this year, Carl’s Jr. has opened inside Brisbane Airport’s domestic terminal. We’re not going to lie to you, its probably a good thing you’ll be restrained by its airport location. Carl’s Jr. is a guilty pleasure – maybe that’s why those racy ad campaigns work so well. The burger chain now offers more than 15 huge burgers, including its famous Angus Thickburgers (thick isn’t an exaggeration – you can chose third- or half-pound beef patties), chargrilled burgers (Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger anyone?) and chicken burgers. You can also get breakfast burgers and muffins, ice-cream sandwiches, hand-scooped ice-cream shakes and a range of sides.
