What was once an unassuming driveway and loading bay has been transformed into West End’s newest drinking den, and the new home to boutique brewer Brisbane Brewing Co. The space’s pièce de résistance is its open brewery, boasting 8 fermenters. Master brewer Simeon Bonetti oversees the 1000-L small batches of each brew, ranging from the Brisbane Pale Ale and Star Lager Classic Pilsner, to the more creative Lady Marmalade Apricot Amber Ale and Smoking Gun Robust Porter. But Brisbane Brewing Co is much more than just a brewery and bar. Brothers Dan and Tim Searle are at the kitchen’s helm, offering up a carefully curated menu to pair with your icy-cold brew. The restaurant has a continental diner-style menu, with a focus on fresh, local and ethically sourced produce.
