Boxcopy in Petrie Terrace is an artist-run organisation that acts as a platform for local artists to display their work to new audiences. Founded in 2007 by a group of graduating art students, Boxcopy has showcased works by numerous solo artists from across Australia and events in conjunction with galleries in other states. Favouring the innovative and experimental forms of art, Boxcopy showcases work from a variety of media. Through a curated program of events, exhibitions and publications, Boxcopy shines a light on the unseen practitioners within Brisbane’s art scene, and supports DIY and collaborative approaches to art.
