Billykart West End

Celebrity Chef Ben O’Donoghue revealed plans for a sister cafe to his award winning spot Billykart Kitchen in early 2015. The Annerley cafe – which took out numerous categories in the 2014 Eat/Drink Awards – is one of the most popular spots in Brisbane and now foodies can rejoice in the knowledge that another Billykart eatery has now opened in West End. The new venue is open for dinner seven nights a week in addition to breakfast and lunch service and will include a deli and bottle shop at the neighbouring Billykart Provisions. Patrons can enjoy Billykart staples such as Aussie Asian eggs with skull island tiger prawn and bacon and the crispy corn fritters with grilled avocado, or they can sample some new additions like spanner crab and scallop congee, sprouted seed loaf with avocado tahini and taramosalata and the eggs bender, which boasts potato waffles, hot smoked salmon, poached eggs and horseradish hollandaise. The biggest new feature at Billykart West End is the dinner menu, which features a selection of shared starters and mains featuring spit roasted meats such as whole chickens, quail, lamb belly and rump.
