Designer Charles Kaisin has found one such method, creating the Newspaper Extendable Bench. Using a layering technique with glue to create a material as strong as wood, Charles recycled old newspaper to craft an intriguing piece of furniture with a sleek aesthetic that could signal the way of home furnishings in the future.
