The former Surfers Paradise Transit Centre has been transformed into an urban micro-village that houses artisan coffee roasters alongside curators and creative folk and is aptly named after the suburb in which it resides. The 4217 contains Paradox Coffee Roasters, Brooklyn Depot, My Sushi Rolls, Beautiful Spaces Inside and Out, OzHarvest’s Gold Coast headquarters, Oven Creative and SNAP Fitness. CHA Tea Providores and an artisan bakery are also expected to open in coming weeks. The 4217 also offers a Pop Up Project (PUP) that is committed to fostering local creative talent and provides a platform for artisan providores to showcase their craft with almost every wall and facade providing a canvas for original artwork.
