Eat, drink and be messy at the new Justin Lane Establishment

Debuting a new rooftop bar, a new menu and completely new fit-out, Justin Lane Establishment has officially opened in Burleigh Heads just in time for the silly season.

If you’ve been on the Gold Coast for more than a minute, you’re probably well acquainted with Burleigh Heads’ pizza institution Justin Lane. Or so you thought. Spurred by unanticipated growth in the takeaway and delivery side of things, Justin Lane has undergone a complete refurbishment to become Justin Lane Establishment. The old bar area has been converted into a dedicated takeaway and delivery hub, next door’s Cavalier Bar & Italian has been swallowed up to become Justin’s Pizzeria & Pasta Bar and there’s a brand new rooftop terrace for sun-drenched summer sessions.

Alongside the obvious cosmetic changes, Justin’s Pizzeria & Pasta Bar has unveiled a new menu that features a fleshed out starters selection and a brand new pasta offering. The pasta is made in-house daily and served fresh so it’s delicate and delicious. Thankfully, the sourdough pizza selection remains largely unchanged because when you’re onto a good thing, you’d be mad to mess with it. Some of the standouts from the new starters selection are bruschetta of smashed peas, grilled asparagus, mint and olive oil, chargrilled octopus and Mooloolaba king prawns and from the pastas, the squid ink linguine with clams is hard to pass up. Finish with Justin’s epic deep fried Nutella ice-cream sandwich, if you dare. The marvellous monstrosity is more than enough for two but if you’re not quite brave enough (or crazy enough), Justin Lane Establishment and Gelato Messina have partnered to bring you some excellent gelato and sorbet selections. The cocktail list has also been updated to include little niceties such as the Justin’s Colada; coconut infused rum, coconut water, pineapple and toasted coconut served in a JT’s coconut water can. The catchphrase for the new mega establishment is eat, drink and be messy, you definitely don’t have to ask us twice!
