Solo shows and sexy ceramics at 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace

Feed your mind and soul at 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace as three unique solo shows and a sexy ceramics exhibition are unveiled this Saturday July 18.

Get introspective with French-born local artist Patrick Oudin’s Retrospective, fall in love with renowned Spanish artist Guim Tió Zarraluki’s Palette People, relive the hype of Breaking Bad with Elisa Pettenon’s White Night and get a little saucy with Sexy – A Ceramics Expose at 19 Karen. The exhibitions, while entirely different in nature and form, will take you on a journey into your own soul and ensure you never look at ceramics quite the same way again. The sexy ceramics exhibition contains artistic representations of the word ‘sexy’ from five female artists including locals artists Leisa Russell, Midge Johansen and Michaela Kloeckner as well as the international collaborative team Inguna Skuja and Melissa Braden.

The evening will also include words from Donal Fitzpatrick, Deputy Director and Associate Professor at Queensland College of Art (Griffith University). Open your mind at 19 Karen Contemporary Artspace.
