Spice up winter wares with The Sparkler Hobe
No matter how many heavy layers of clothing winter is forcing upon you, there’s nothing like a cute pair of shoes to inspire a spontaneous shimmy through the brisk streets. Get in the prancing mood with the new Sparkler range from Melbourne footwear label Hobes.
Winter 2013 sees the third reinvention of the original Hobes range, combining aspects both cute and comfortable to create The Sparkler Hobe. The new design is available in gold, silver and gold print, ensuring toes are kept warm (and hearts warmer) throughout the chilly season.
Having launched in 2010, Hobes is known for creating comfortable classics, with quality materials and simple designs melding with traditional Italian shoemaking techniques. The popular Wooly Hobe boot has also undergone a winter makeover and is now available in limited-edition shades of midnight, ruby and peanut. Each shoe is made from kid suede and lined with 100% lambswool direct from the Hobes family farm in Victoria. Hobe designer Georgie Hobart even has a few more tricks up her woolly sleeve to come, with The Hobe Carryall bag – which will fold up into a neat envelope-sized package – set to launch in August.
