There seems to be no limit to the changes that can be made to make life a little more eco-friendly, including when it comes to your wardrobe content. With no smelly hemp in sight, there is currently a group of Brisbane designers dedicated to the production of flouncy frocks and stylish workout gear that are both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally sound.

On Friday July 13 you’ll have a chance to glimpse at some sustainable fashion creations at Fashion Meets Forest. This fashion show will be a celebration of eco-friendly attire, amongst the luxurious interiors of sophisticated Cloudland.

The venue will open at 6:00 pm for a 7:30 pm start, where local labels from Brisbane will take to the stage, including items from Ash to Gold, Yogathe and A Pot of Tea Under a Tree. All clothing on display is made with environmental consciousness in mind, ranging from cotton workout wear to edgy dresses for a night out.

Tickets are $30, which will include canapes to accompany the show, as well as all the proceeds going towards Treehenge – a not-for-profit rehabilitation organisation, which is dedicated to protecting land, water, native plants and wildlife.
