A world of crafts and cupcakes at Hamilton Lifestyle Markets

A world of crafts and cupcakes at Hamilton Lifestyle Markets

While some markets can be overwhelmingly full of bric-a-brac and secondhand goods, The Hamilton Lifestyle Markets seeks to take the marketplace back to its niche roots as a melting pot of locally produced foods and unique crafts.

The colourful stalls are the creation of the duo behind Ruffled Bazaar Company – Jessica Low and Kellie Bull. After a successful stint running Mount Gravatt’s Twilight Markets for the past year, the pair has embarked on an even more intimate enterprise in the form of the Hamilton location. The markets were founded to nurture community spirit, as well as a space to display and sell locals’ unique hand-crafted creations and gourmet morsels of food.

Starting this Sunday April 22 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Hamilton Town Hall – just off popular Racecourse Road – will become home to the market’s congregation of 30 boutique businesses. Each stallholder has handmade or sourced the stall’s produce – ranging from homewares such as handmade pillow designs, to food stalls of delicate cupcakes and tasty dumplings.
