Tidy up in the name of World’s Greatest Shave
While we’re partial to slicked-back locks and a fair hunk of chin whiskers framing the face – especially for a little extra warmth with winter approaching – there are a few times a year when a clean shave goes a long way. Tidy up this autumn in the name of World’s Greatest Shave and challenge yourself to re-sprout that facial growth in time for winter.
Each day in Australia, 31 people are diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood cancer. So events like World’s Greatest Shave assist Leukaemia Foundation in providing ongoing support for patients and families during treatments. This year, the de-hairing event is being held between March 13–16, where participants can shave or colour their hair (or beards) for a good cause.
And there’s no longer a need to drag a bucket around the workplace for donations, with shavers able to take their fundraising online using the My Shave app. Or if you’d prefer to keep your crown beautifully bushy and unkempt, you can simply sponsor a shaver or fundraise for Leukaemia Foundation to assist those diagnosed with blood cancer.
