Universal Works handcrafts Workshop Denim

British label Universal Works is crafting a snappy range of denim and menswear to keep out the chill this autumn.

Those Brits certainly know a thing or two about cold weather, so this chilly season we’re taking our dressing cues from the debonair gents at Universal Works and rugging up in woollen knits, wind-defying jackets and classic denim. Icy extremities can curl into a pair of cosy socks or knitted gloves, while the brand’s range of cardigans and pullovers should keep out the Brisbane chill. Founder David Keyte aims to mix blue-collar durability with a stylish edge to create a universal range of menswear. The independent company is based in the UK but can ship to our shores, saving Brisbane boys from battling through the cooler months with just boardies and sock-and-thong combos in their arsenal.

The label’s Workshop Denim range has also been turning heads for its classic styles and quality craftsmanship. Jeans made from 100% cotton and Portuguese selvedge denim are available in both regular and slim fit, while denim jacket styles like the Bakers Chore and Trucker feature thoughtful touches like headphone pockets.
