For TreeHorn founder Joe, it was all because he had a whole lot of time and frequent fits of creative inspiration. Joe’s knowledge of tools and his love of crafting have combined in a beautiful explosion of colour with his environmentally friendly jewellery line. Using only reclaimed, recycled and sustainably grown timber, Joe’s ethical approach means that a significant number of items are actually crafted using wood trimmings from his workshop floor. All packaging is environmentally friendly and the company is also a regular contributor to The Wilderness Society and the Australian Conservation Foundation.

Now Joe’s handmade creations are gracing the shelves of the West End steward of sustainability Nook. Hidden amongst the store’s colourful trinkets and treasures, you’ll find TreeHorn bangles and timber pendant necklaces ready for the picking. Willing wrists can choose from two different sizes and thicknesses of bangles, while the handmade pendants are also handpainted, ensuring a bright, one-of-a-kind finish.
