Brisbane dwellers might still be shedding a few silent tears over the closing of Borders bookshop on Albert Street, but the three-level space will now be home to retail indulgences of another kind with the opening of Brisbane’s first TOPSHOP TOPMAN store today. Although Sydney and Melbourne were the first Australian cities to nab the iconic British brand, Brisbane now boasts the largest TOPSHOP TOPMAN store in the country – with a grand 2,220 square metres of floorspace crowded with clothing, footwear and accessories.

Gents can kit themselves out in the TOPMAN Mainline range, as well as Suiting, Denim, Unique and Boutique collections, while your ladyfriends can busy themselves in TOPSHOP’s Make-Up, Tall and Petite divisions. Those of you who haven’t ventured inside a changeroom since childhood can also take advantage of the store’s free personal shopping service, complete with pre-selected racks of wares and complimentary refreshments.
