Australian fashion icon Jodhi Meares has crafted a sleek new collection of sartorially savvy activewear.

For those of us who delegate our grubbiest attire to working out and scurry red-faced between home and gym hoping no one will spot us, it’s time to get a re-education in activewear. And who better to teach us than former model and Tigerlily designer Jodhi Meares, who launched the first major concept campaign from her label THE UPSIDE this month. Be You celebrates self-acceptance and diversity, encouraging us to take a deep breath and find happiness within ourselves. Rather than stressing that we’re not good enough or not doing enough, the campaign reminds us that self-love is the ultimate definition of success.

When our day planners are packed and we’re starved of time, it’s often our exercise regimes that get the boot. But Jodhi has hatched up a more practical solution, developing a line of clothing that can easily transfer from the gym or yoga studio to the school pick-up, a catch-up with friends or an afternoon full of errands. From body-sculpting tights and shorts to singlets, jackets and hoodies, the collection is both comfortable and cute enough to take you anywhere. THE UPSIDE also donates a percentage of every online order to the Cambodian Children’s Trust. Find the collection at David Jones in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre and QueensPlaza, or head online to browse the pieces and consult the size chart.
