A new super-powered store for lovers of comics, graphic novels and pop culture has been unmasked on Charlotte Street, proving that comics are cooler than ever.

Secret Identity Comics is a new store owned and operated by two friends that share a love for comic books. Not afraid to reveal their own identities, Tash Green and Christine Chien set about opening their comic book emporium on Charlotte Street to try and foster a community around comics and graphic novels. By offering a comprehensive range of stock of publications and genres, Tash and Christine endeavour to foster inclusivity and encourage former readers to re-discover their love of comics and curious souls to see what it’s all about.

The expansive space boasts shelves of publications from the large publishing houses and local, independent creators. With a focus on trades, Secret Identity Comics brings in new issues weekly from the big names and also stock pop-culture merchandise from iconic series such as Game Of Thrones, Star Wars, Firefly and Adventure Time. With plenty of room to move, Tash and Christine are looking to start hosting comic book discussion clubs and themed events in the future. Don’t keep your love of comics a secret –Tash and Christine encourage everyone with a passing curiosity to spend some time browsing the store and getting lost in the imaginative worlds found within.
