Love Vintage Show returns to South Bank
Last time this emporium of olden-day wares rolled into town, a vintage red velvet painter’s smock originally from Rockmans caught our eye, along with some vintage-inspired new designs by local seamstresses. For its sophomore edition, Love Vintage Show returns to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre at South Bank for three days of yesteryear whimsy.
Vintage makeovers, fashion parades, Charleston dancing, a ‘Best Dressed in Vintage’ competition and vintage wedding fashion chats will keep patrons entertained, with ladies and gents alike encouraged to doll up in their finest vintage threads. Local collectors Atomic Martini Vintage, Hobohemia, Kijaro Vintage and La Bella Donna Vintage will feature amongst the travelling exhibitors, with a full list of those on show available here.
At the roadshow, find vintage, antique and retro one-off clothing, accessories, textiles, jewellery, homewares and collectables, including art prints, sunglasses and sewing patterns. Love Vintage Show is open Friday April 5 from 5:30 pm and will continue through the weekend on Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
