With parents who worked in fashion and creative industries, Raffael garnered a natural feel for beauty, line and form, and learned to sew from a young age. These days, under the label Lohmann, Raffael carefully selects high-quality hides from Australian and European tanneries to make satchels, wallets, belts and computer bags for gents and dames in his West End studio.

Solid brass fittings give character, while unique cow and kangaroo leathers and the hand-cut process ensure each piece is a one off. Traditional making techniques have been honed to ensure each item will be a strong, loyal companion for decades to come.
