Style doyenne Karen Walker launches Diamond collection

Seemingly dissatisfied with conquering merely clothing, sunglasses, shoes, purses and the cute and kitsch side of jewellery, Karen Walker has now branched into diamonds. Having been asked by avid followers to recreate Karen Walker Jewellery pieces in diamonds for engagement purposes in the past, Karen took the opportunity to fill this gap in fine fashion jewellery on a more permanent basis.

Drawing inspiration from her previous flower and botanical jewellery collections, as well as the Karen Walker archive, Karen Walker Diamond re-examines the idea of what an engagement ring should look like. The Solitaires collection is a modern take on the traditional, with brilliant-, princess- and tear-drop-cut diamonds simply set. Subtly setting the rings apart from any other classical engagement rings, Solitaires features daisy-shaped cut-outs framing the diamond, allowing light to filter through the facets.

The Wax Flower rings feature clusters of delicate wildflower posies, while the Pansy collection takes inspiration from the similar Karen Walker jewellery stylings. With 26 pieces all up, each ring is available in yellow gold, white gold, platinum and palladium, with diamonds ranging in clarity and colour. Planned for biannual release, Karen Walker Diamond is an exciting addition to the year-long KW glory.
