Despite this, many commercial brand soaps are packed full of chemicals that are absorbed through the skin. Organic products are becoming increasingly popular, and Brisbane-based soap manufacturers ilo Organics chooses to opt against the chemical ingredients in favour of natural substances. Created by former interior designer Trudy Orth, ilo Organics aims to create unique products that enhance wellbeing and piece of mind.

Using no added chemicals, colouring or fragrances, ilo Organics’ product range includes a number of different soap variations incorporating ingredients such as camellia, castor and coconut oils, coconut, coffee, sea salt and filtered water. The mild oils imbued within each bar help to gently soothe and cleanse skin, and the hydraulic cold-pressing extraction process removes heat and solvents from the creation process.
