Holloway releases a range of organic tees
When the two lads behind Holloway decided to start a sustainable sunglasses business, the environment breathed a sigh of relief. Having now mastered the art of both eyewear and watches, the gents have collaborated with local artists to create a limited-edition run of organic t-shirts.
Made from organic materials, the range of t-shirts is the result of collaborations with artists Avril Jane Poulier (who also happens to be co-founder Raffaele’s mother), Kizan Kakinuma and Sophia Mary Mac. Avril was previously an artist engraver for the Reserve Bank of Australia, while Kizan is a proponent of calligraphy mastery and Sophia takes her inspiration from the culture of the day as well as Renaissance paintings. If some of the designs look familiar, that is because a few of them also appear on Holloway’s range of watches.
In line with Holloway’s sustainable approach to business, there are only 14 of the limited-edition organic t-shirts, and once they are sold out, they will be made to order to ensure there is no waste. The tees mark the start of Holloway’s foray into clothing, with a range of suits, overalls, dresses and tees made from hemp expected to drop this year.
