Tucked away on the more respectable end of the famed East 6th Street in Austin, Texas, the HELM Boots store purveys far more than the sturdy foot appendages the brand has made its name for. Bags, belts, socks, soaps and perfume are among the accoutrements on display, while the decor itself has been sourced by the HELM Boots team members wherever they can find it – abandoned on street corners, sitting in solitude at garage sales or forgotten in a friend’s basement. HELM Boots was founded in 2009 to create workboots that harked back to the generations of our fathers and grandfathers, but that also incorporated a modern fit and aesthetic. Keep an eye out for a new collection of boots for the ladies soon to be released.
