Foam Symmetry heads north for Noosa Festival of Surfing
If the desire to glide a board along a plunging wave is engrained deep in your veins, then turn your out-of-water time towards skimming the pages of Foam Symmetry.
This high-quality, photograph-orientated magazine focuses on alternative surf culture, capturing the big blue, and the people who sashay across it, from our own backyard to sunny California. The quarterly surfing publication launched in New South Wales two years ago, and those keen to catch up on past issues can purchase back issues online.
For this year’s Noosa Festival of Surfing, the Foam Symmetry team will be cruising northwards, playing host to the Foam Symmetry Rockin’ Auction on Monday March 10. The surfboard auction returns for the annual event, with 20 boards going under the hammer, before sets from the sun-soaked bearded gents of garage surf rock band Dead Beat Band, followed by punk mayhem maker, Mesa Cosa. Noosa Festival of Surfing will run March 9–15.
