Aje. and T2 Tea settle in to James Street
Endlessly kneading, shaping and growing into its best possible guise, James Street in Fortitude Valley has welcomed two exciting new retailers this month.
Having dabbled in hosting pop-up stores along James Street in the past, Australian label Aje. has now found a permanent residency on the leafy Fortitude Valley street. Rubbing shoulders with Kova Lifestyle, Aje.’s new James Street shopfront is tucked amongst the Centro on James boutiques. Founded in 2007 by Adrian Norris and Edwina Robinson, the label is synonymous with effortless glamour and dishevelled elegance. Aje. opened its first Brisbane store at Westfield Carindale at the end of 2013, but has now shifted its local flagship to the more centrally located James Street precinct.
T2 Tea has also opened a new boutique in the 50 James Street corner block of shops. Replacing the empty shell sadly left by local fashion label Alexis Dawn, the Australian tea retailer has spent the past few weeks transforming the space, which now sees the trademark dark interior dotted with pops of brightly hued cube boxes.
