Vege Rama opens restaurant in West End

You may have grabbed a quick takeaway from Vege Rama’s two outlets in Brisbane City, but now you can indulge in the full dining experience at the new Vege Rama restaurant in West End.

Healthy nosh is available around the clock at the new Vege Rama restaurant in West End, where local and organic produce is whipped into breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. From 7:00 am most mornings to late most nights, the hub of health is dishing up nutritious, plant-based dishes that will blast your preconceptions of raw, vegan cuisine. Vege Rama’s two Brisbane City locations in the Myer Centre food court and Post Office Square have provided busy workers and shoppers with nourishing nibbles on-the-go, but its popularity has now led to an expansion into a sit-down, licensed restaurant.

While some of the venue’s most popular dishes, such as the famous Vege Rama burger, will remain on the menu, a huge selection of new dishes have been added to the offering. International influences see the addition of Asian stir-fries, tempura-battered zucchini flowers, raw Mexican meals and Indian plates featuring a weekly rotation of curries. Sweet tooths can indulge in desserts such as vegan chocolate mousse or strawberries and cream, while thirsty throats will be eased with a selection of freshly cold-pressed, organic juices, or biodynamic wine and beer. Those in a hurry can also opt to take their curries, stir-fries, casseroles and cakes away.
