If your body is a temple, we’ve found a new spot for you to worship. Tucked away in the heart of Paddington is Ground Collective, a healthy hub that boasts a day spa, yoga studio and organic cafe all under one roof.

Most of us lazy slugabeds get around our conscience when it gnaws at us about fitness and healthy living by proclaiming, “It would be so easy if everything I needed was under one roof!” Sorry to destroy your last excuse, but such a place exists. Paddington’s Ground Collective is an all-inclusive retreat housing nourishment for mind, body and soul – an organic cafe, a day spa and a yoga studio. Ground Collective’s eatery Common is all about treating yo’self to nourishing, healthy alternatives. The scrumptious menu features a concise selection of all-day options to snack on, such as the Avo Zen smashed avocado, Namaste bacon and eggs, cinnamon and cardamom flavoured oatmeal, toasties on organic sourdough from Sol and gluten, refined sugar and dairy-free sweets and treats. Common also serves smoothies, an extensive range of boutique detoxing tea from Storm & India and two signature coffee blends from Bellissimo Coffee – Yin (a conservative blend) and Yang (a more intense variety).

Next door, the Eden Day Spa and clinic is the perfect spot to get pampered and centred with a range of indulgent treatment packages for men and women. Swan around in a comfy robe and enjoy time in the steam and infrared sauna sanctuary, exfoliations, massage, skin rejuvenations and much more. Consultations with skincare experts are also available, as is a range of chemical- and alcohol-free products from Sodashi. At the building’s rear, the Fire Flow Yoga Studio offers 24 classes a week in the morning, afternoon and evening, ranging from vinyasa and restorative yoga to pilates classes. Weekly yoga memberships are available – inclusive of a free weekly coffee and wi-fi in the cafe – which will have you saying “namaste a bit longer” every time.
