Spruce Kitchen delivers delicious lunchtime eats

We all have those weeks where we are just way too busy to bring a packed lunch to work, but it is easy to get bored with the lunch options that surround you. If your lunchtime choices need a bit of a shake up, then you should become acquainted with Spruce Kitchen.

Spruce Kitchen was born from a series of conversations about quality food between Pete Dressler and Julian Meaden. They realised that often people are either committed to unsustainable diets or breaking the budget at restaurants focusing just flavour, and not so much nutrition. Pete and Julian realised it was time to make it easier to find food that is both tasty and healthy.

Finding that happy medium, Spruce Kitchen delivers high-quality and nutritionally balanced lunch options each day that certainly don’t skimp on flavour. The ever-changing daily menu is carefully curated and based around seasonal produce, with a sandwich option, a salad, ‘fruit and things’, guilty pleasures and refreshments. On any day you might find a light rye sandwich with corned beef brisket, zuni pickles, raclette, watercress and sour cream mayonnaise; or a salad of roasted cauliflower and eggplant tabouleh with smoked almonds, pomegranate, goats cheese and saffron yoghurt. For sweet tooths you can opt for guilty pleasures such as coconut and blueberry friand or carrot cake with cream cheese icing, or look to the daily combination of fruits (and sometimes yoghurt).

Orders must be placed online by 2:00 pm for next-day delivery, and deliveries arrive between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm – you will be sent a convenient text 15 minutes prior to arrival. You are welcome to order for a day, a week, or a fortnight, and delivery is free.
