The Superfood Box has taken over the space previously occupied by Press in the James Lane precinct, refreshed with crisp white tiles and mandatory pineapples. Much like its Portside sibling, Pineapple Express Superfood Box focuses on healthy and wholesome food, but with a wickedly delicious twist. The box offers a more condensed selection than Portside, which can be enjoyed whilst catching some rays in front of the box, or taken on the run.

In the counter you’ll find a colourful array of superfood salads, freshly made bagels and wraps, as well as an assortment of decadent raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free and soy-free sweet treats, such as top deck and peppermint slice. You can also opt for smashed avocado with hummus and tomatoes, choose from a range of smoothies or a fresh summery acai bowl brimming with fresh fruit. But the real drawcard at the Superfood Box is the all natural dairy-free CocoWhip. Pineapple Express is stacking these babies high with raw goodies, so delicious that it’s unfair to regular sugary sundaes. Selections include Naughty Notella, which tops CocoWhip with a clean-Nutella-loaded syringe with maple-coated hazelnuts and fresh banana, or Wagon Wheel, covered with a raw peanut butter and jelly wheel drizzled with pure organic peanut butter and clean chocolate fudge sauce. The box will stay open until 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday to satisfy all of your post-dinner dessert cravings.
