As spring comes on full force many are looking forward to the spoils of warm weather – namely the produce! My Berries are one of south-east Queensland’s finest growers of raspberries and strawberries sold fresh and frozen.

Stuart and Allison McGruddy are the hard working hands behind My Berries. After working for many years as a chef in Queensland and London restaurants, Stuart returned to Australia to start a business with his wife Allison using the fresh berries that were growing abundantly on his family’s farm. My Berries kicked off in 2013, selling high quality raspberries at markets around Brisbane. Since its inception, the business has grown to offer a range of berry products using farm-fresh produce grown in the Moreton Bay region.

The raspberries are hand picked the day before sale to ensure freshness. In addition to the handfuls of delicious berries, Stuart and Allison also make a range of products that minimise the waste of berries on the family farm. My Berries’ Raspberry Crush is a sauce that is best drizzled over ice cream, swirled through yoghurt or mixed into smoothies. My Berries also make raspberry vinegar for dressing salads and raspberry bombs which combines raspberries with Belgian chocolate.

You can find My Berries products at Plenty in West End, Sourced Grocer in Teneriffe, Grandma’s Pantry in Capalaba, Nana and Da’s in Kedron and at Jan Power’s Farmers Markets in the city and New Farm as well as at the Davies Park Market in West End.
