Picturesque eatery Medley Cafe & Restaurant draws upon a range of cultural influences to craft a menu that boasts tastes of many cuisines.

Sitting pretty on the banks of the Brisbane River, Medley Cafe & Restaurant occupies a site with a special significance to Brisbane’s history. The venue is part of the Yungaba precinct in Kangaroo Point, which at various stages was used as immigration centre, military hospital and headquarters for the planning and construction of the Story Bridge. Now occupied by luxury apartments, the Yungaba area has became a stylish spot for Brisbane residents, and Medley Cafe & Restaurant is establishing itself as a prime location for some riverside dining.

With menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Medley Cafe & Restaurant has crafted a worldly collection of dishes that reflects the multicultural experiences of co-owners Stavros Tziortzis and Nick Pavlakis as well as French-born head chef Patrick Panier. Breakfast feautres inventive meals such as Catalan baked eggs and orange sugar French toast with Australian macadamias and lavender honey, while lunch ups the ante with moussaka and Morrocan lamb tagines. Dinner offers tastes from North Africa, the Pacific, Greek and Spanish cuisines. South west coq au vin, pacific island fish salad and Greek dessert galaktoboureko are just some of the moreish meals on offer. Medley Cafe & Restaurant is licensed, with a selection of Australian and international beers and wines to be available in the coming weeks.
