Pawpaw launches Little Pawpaw in Kedron

All-day edibles, Campos Coffee and a colourfully kitsch fit-out converge at Little Pawpaw in Kedron.

The family of restaurateurs behind southside favourites Picnic, Pawpaw, Green Papaya and Mons Ban Sabai has now spread the love to the northside, opening Little Pawpaw in Kedron. The fifth Brisbane sibling to join the Venzin Group opened quietly last week, officially firing up the kitchen and pumping out the new menu just a few days ago.

The all-day offerings are decidedly breakfast orientated, so whether you’re an earlybird or prefer to take your morning meal at midday, Little Pawpaw has you covered. Repasts range from simple sourdough slathered with your choice of childhood favourite spread, to corn and zucchini fritters served with smoked tomato relish and herb sour cream, to French toast layered with bacon, maple syrup and homemade banana jam. If the hunger pangs dig a little deeper, tuck in to pumpkin gnocchi tossed with basil pesto and fetta, a toasted Turkish sandwich filled with seared rump steak, crispy onion rings, rocket, tomato, beetroot relish and gruyere cheese, or a good old jaffle of the day. Campos Coffee and vegan treats round out the little lady’s offerings.

Grab a breezy seat in the shade outside or perch next to those posing pawpaws, painted by the clever kids behind Junky IllustrationKool Thing and Major Leagues.
