Feast at the 2015 James Street Food & Wine Trail

The James Street Food & Wine Trail will return to Fortitude Valley for the fourth time this weekend.

Pop-up bars, street nosh and a gourmet soup kitchen – the fourth annual James Street Food & Wine Trail is sure to set tastebuds into a spin for three glorious days from today, Thursday July 30 to Saturday August 1. Swing by the brand-new addition of the James Street x OzHarvest Pop-Up Soup Kitchen to indulge in fireside soups from the likes of Bucci, Gerard’s Bistro, Chowhouse and more, with all profits going to OzHarvest food rescue. The Melbourne Food & Wine Festival is also making a special appearance this year, with an exclusive collaboration between Huxtaburger and Huxtable chef Daniel Wilson and Harveys Bar and Bistro’s PJ McMillan.

The Urban Picnic Zone will be three times the size of previous years, sating hungry festival-goers with street-style meals from venues along James Street as well as Stone & Wood beers, Aperol Spritz and Pimm’s. Check out the Chefs-In-Action stage, join degustation dinners, listen in on culinary discussions, view foodie films, kick up your heels at the Gerard’s Bistro Laneway Party, browse the Makers Markets and tire out the kids at the festival’s interactive art space.
