Although Dîner en Blanc is a BYO everything event, the event organisers have put together some delectable hampers to take some of the hassle out of the evening.

On October 17, thousands of revellers clad in white will descend on an undisclosed location for a night of fine food, delicious wine and good times. Traditionally the dinner is a BYO affair, from tables to cutlery and food. Those who picture themselves struggling with the prospect of obtaining all of the goods can rest easy with the knowledge that Dîner en Blanc has a selection of hampers on offer, containing a range of delicious treats to keep you fed throughout the evening.

The two hamper varieties are being provided by Cuisine on Cue and come in a standard and deluxe package. For $45 for two people, the standard hamper boasts miniature baguettes with salted confit garlic butter, a selection of sliced meats and grilled vegetables and cheddar and brie with lavosh and quince paste. Those wanting the whole hog and order the next hamper up for $100, which boasts all of the above plus pumpkin, caramelised onion and prosciutto baked tartlet, duck leg terrine with apple and raisin relish, roasted baby vegetables with goats cheese and rocket and a chocolate and macadamia brownie with maple syrup. If you want something to wash the food down, Sirromet Wines will be selling wine, cider and champagne packages.
