Cloudland’s Madame Hedges debuts new multicultural menu

One of Brisbane’s most popular party establishments is expanding its food offering with a new Pan Asian-inspired culinary experience.

For years Cloudland has set the standard for quality entertainment in Fortitude Valley’s entertainment district. The venue recently overhauled the space and unveiled its newly named in-house restaurant Madame Hedges, and appointed Jane-Therese Mulry as its executive chef. Madame Hedges is set to unveil a new menu of Asain cuisine, separated into small plates, fish and seafood, meats, poultry and vegetables, grains and tofu.

With a focus on shared dining experiences, the menu has been curated to complement the theatrical elements of the venue, presented in fun and engaging ways. Drawing inspiration from countries such as China, Nepal and Sri Lanka, the menu boasts delectable dishes such as BBQ duck with daikon cake, bok choy, pear and tamarind, Sichuan chicken salad, blackened gingered cobia, braised goat curry, steamed turmeric vegetable dumplings and balsamic soy marinated eggplant rolls. The food is complemented by a wine list and delightful desserts are also available for those looking to sweeten their night a touch.
