Chow down at the Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show

Pop on those stretchy pants and fill the belly at the Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show this weekend.

If you view the act of eating as an art, an experience and a full-blown event, then you’d better clear your schedule this weekend and head straight to the Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show. The culinary celebration will fill the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for three delicious days from Friday October 17 through to Sunday October 19, offering up tastings, masterclasses and producer stalls. Tap in to the brains of local food artisans and iconic chefs like Maggie Beer, Matt Moran and Alastair McLeod, roll up your sleeves for an interactive cooking class and gobble the goods from a range of stalls.

Meet some of the country’s best producers in Cheese Alley, explore the latest coffee innovations at the Nespresso Experience, take an appreciation class in the Riedel Wine Theatre, sign up for an inspiring masterclass to learn Adriano Zumbo’s macaron baking secrets, enjoy a Spanish fiesta on the terrace with Miguel Maestre or discover what makes the Barossa the nation’s most famous wine region with wine writer David Brookes. If all of that sampling and sighting has left you with a mighty appetite, pop out to the Nip of Courage Grazing Garden to feast on the best from Brisbane’s food trucks and enjoy a cocktail or wine.

The Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show will open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Secure your general entry ticket and masterclass registration online.
