After accidentally leaving a jar of local raw bush honey in his home cold smoker, Kris Sweres began to start experimenting, resulting in Blend Smoked Honey.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, Blend Smoked Honey sources 100 per cent raw local honey, extracted using traditional beekeeping methods. These small batches are then cold wood smoked, flavouring the honey without the application of heat. The smoked honey is then combined with toasted spices and artisan ingredients to create a unique sweet-yet-smoky flavour.
Blend Smoked Honey is the perfect partner to a sharp slice of vintage cheddar, or drizzled over roasted garlic to spread on a fresh piece of sourdough.
