The Milk Factory in South Brisbane is hosting a block party of epic proportions, filled with the sounds of hip hop and the delightful smells of a spit roast in the beer garden. The musical line-up includes artists such as Street 66, Ali The Great and DJ James Wright. This event is free and kicks off from 5:00 pm.

Emerging in late 2013, Street 66 bring raw hip-hop funk styles. With solid guitar, bass and drum grooves forming the platform, PUER MC’s skewed word play takes audiences through hard spit sections to soulful chorus lines. Accompanied by an extended congregation of live guests, featuring turntables, freestyle MC’s and strings, Street 66 present a dynamic force. With a compilation of demo recordings already out, the crew have set their sights on an EP release due in late 2015.
